The IDX Search Bar component lets you add a search bar anywhere on your website including those powered by Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace, GoDaddy, and many more platforms.
IDX search bars let your site visitors start their MLS listing search by specifying several locations and filters.

How can I customize the IDX Search Bar component?
Once you've created an IDX search bar component, you have several customization options:
Name
Give your component a name that will help you identify where on your website it is going to be placed.
Default Search Type
You can set the search type (eg. For Sale or For Rent) that this search bar will default to.
Hide Listing Type Toggle
Check this box if you DO NOT want your visitors to select which type of listings to search for. This is useful for agents and brokerages that do not service rental listings (or vice verse).
Placeholder Text
The text that shows up in the search bar to encourage site visitors to search.
